Did you know that 80 MUN students were hard at work on Saturday?

There are so many amazing things that happen at this school--many of them we hardly hear about.  FALA is here every Saturday, Talon comes in on the weekends to finish their layout, kids stay after school daily to do community service or sports, and many more. We just wanted to mention MUN among the list of things that Graded should be proud of.

This Saturday almost 80 students came in to school to discuss world issues.  Students from 8th to 12th grade took on the persona of a country to debate population control and the conflict between North and South Korea on the "floor of the United Nations."  Graded MUN was run entirely by students.  They picked the topics, did the research, organized the rooms and food, and moderated the debate.  We feel very lucky to work with such an amazing group of dedicated students.

If you see any MUN participant please congratulate them for spending their weekend debating.
If you see:
Alvaro Rossi (Secretary General)Paula Soares (logistics)Adam Fertig and Clara Bezerra (Chairs of the Political Committee)Luiza Gundim and Pedro Bitar (Chairs of the Economic and Social (ECOSOC) Committee)

Please let them know how awesome they are.
